How Long is Forever?

How long is forever?

And if I died tommorrow,

Would I be remembered?

I want to make my mark

However big or small

It doesn't have to be all that grand

Just any mark at all

And if I died tommorrow,

Would anyone even know?

If they had a funeral,

Would anyone even show?

When my time runs out

And it's time for me to go

I want to end it on a high

And not just another low

I just want to be remembered

For much longer than a day

I just don't want the day I die

To be the day I simply fade away
